I have tried many other Chinese places on the island and today I finally stopped here. Service was great and I'm very pleased with the food. Ordered a few things that I normally eat and each one seemed a little bit different than what I'm used to, only in a better way. A little extra twang and cooked a little more crunchy. I just really enjoyed it and will be a frequent customer here!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food is just as awesome as the family who owns the restaurant. Food is always fresh, hot, and nice proportions. Price is average and comparable to other places but the quality is way better.
Honestly, I’m not one to throw around the “i’m from NY “ phrase... EVER. BUT, coming from the food mecca that I do, to say this chinese take out is so on-point, is a big deal. I travel a lot and it’s hard to find the real deal. The best Gyoza ever, light, crispy, perfect size. The lo-mein is tight, and the fried rice is actually the dark fried rice you’d expect, none of that light color nonsense. Everything I’ve had so far hits. The owner’s cool too. Sometimes they have no boneless ribs, lol but it’s okay, get something else.
By far the best chinese food in south carolina, ive been to different states in search of anything as good as this place and nothing. Their food taste fresh and authentic i would recommend to everyone. My go to is the spicy pork fried rice with sesame chicken 100/10
Little place with big flavors, will come again
I cannot understand their 4.1 rating. This was the absolute best Chinese food I have had in years. I am picky as hell growing up in NY. I had chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce, my husband had Happy Family, my son had General Tso's chicken and my other son had Honey Chicken. The boys also had fried rice. They are all begging me to go back before we leave. Absolutely outstanding food.
We are visiting the island and decided to order a takeout. The honey chicken and lemon chicken taste great. However, the crab rangoon was different then what we are used to. The service was fast and the lady upfront was friendly.
Yummy food, got general tsao’s and it was fresh and crunchy, not drowning in the sauce all day. It was probably the best tsao’s I’ve gotten :)
